A baby is God’s way of saying that the world should go on – Doris Smith
After Muri and I were married, I decided to take a course called Introduction to Judaism (since we had decided we would raise our children Jewish, I felt that I should know a little something more than my casual knowledge). The instructor, Rabbi Einstein, while talking about the importance of Bar and Bat Mitvahs, gave us an exercise to write down a list of events that stand out in our memories. Certainly among them was the arrival of our two children (they were adopted) and the birth of our grandkids. I’m a bit short of words today so I offer some pictures that no words can do justice.
